Controversial Social Issues

This Controversial Social Issue is going to cover 2 weeks. You can earn up to 6 competencies. All students received an email about Google 10^100 project...

Basically, Google is offering to throw 10 Million Dollars towards an idea. For an entire year, Google allowed people to make proposals answering this question:
What idea could help out the most people with 10 million dollars?

They received over 150,00 ideas. The finalist can be found here. Here's how you can earn 6 competencies.
-1 competency = vote for the best idea
-2 competency = comment at the bottom of this post & justify your vote
-1 competency = send the link & get someone else to vote on their favorite idea
-1 competency = get that person to comment on this blog about why they voted
-1 competency = respond to someones comment

I voted for the transportation enhancement, to put it simply there's way to many idiots on the roads and we're so wasteful that we're damaging our environment. Don't get me wrong i'm not an environment nut and i admit i've been dumb while driving.

I voted for real-world issue reporting system. I think a website where you can report problems to proper authorities is a good idea. It would be great to have somewhere you could state problems and get them fixed.

I Voted for Make educational content available online for free because i believe that people would do alot better in school if they could do it in there enviroment and get there own individual help. i also believe that students would get more work done because it would be on ther own preferable time. And with it free so many other people that cant afford things like that could get an education too!
